Bubba, our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Losing Mama isn't the easiest thing in the world. I hope your memories of growing up in her household bring comfort. I would be at her service, except that Bill and I are leaving town Friday to be in a service Saturday for Bill's first cousin. It would be good to see you. Again, our condolences to you and all your family.

Ms. Jo, I couldn’t imagine my childhood on Pine Street without you as our neighbor. You were my second mom. You saved me from beatings I’m sure I deserved. You were always there for my mom no matter what and she loved you deeply. You were there for me so many times after moms passing with encouraging words or compassionate silence. I loved your hugs and kisses and will always treasure them. I’m thankful for the time we had together on this earth and for the love you always gave. I’m guessing that God gave you your heavenly home right next door to mom and dad and you guys are already marking a new pathway back and forth. You’ll always be our Ms Doe. Teresa and family our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Much love always.
