She was retired from Burlington Industries and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, David Swain and Danny Swain and wife Lisa all of Monticello; five grandchildren, Laura Swain, John Swain, Heath Swain, Tye Swain and Whitney Gifford all of Monticello; three great-grandchildren, Haigen and Hadlyen Gifford and Beaux Swain; one brother, Johnny Edwards and wife Sondra of Monticello; one sister, Cindy Stringfellow; and several nephews.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
