She was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life, deacon Dalton Fisher Jr., on May 31, 1965. Together they raised 4 beautiful children.
Martha loved gardening, fishing, cooking, and traveling. She also cherished the precious moments, and holidays, spent making memories with her family and friends. Martha also adored worshipping with her extended family at The Word Church. Whether it be a family member, friend, or stranger, she always welcomed them with a smile, a compliment, and a hot meal. As a result of her generous spirit and beautiful personality, she was loved by many. Her life was as beautiful as the flowers she loved so well, and her influence will remain in the lives of all who knew her.
She departed this earthly life on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Baptist hospital in Little Rock, ar. She was preceded in death by her siblings: three sisters-Margaret pierce, Erma cotton, Melba Williams, and one brother Ira Gardner.
The memories of her life will forever be cherished by her loved ones: four children Ronald Gardner of Monticello, Arkansas, Stephanie Fisher-Dietrich (Boris) of Golden Isles, Georgia, Dorsey Fisher of Atlanta, Georgia, and Dalton Maurice Fisher of Loganville, Georgia; five brothers, Winston Gardner Jr. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Joe Dean Gardner (Eyeliner) of Los Angeles, California, bobby Gardner sr. (Mary) of Los Angeles, California, Robert Gardner Sr. (Annette) of Tillar, Arkansas, and Dennis Gardner of Monticello, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, Antonio "Tony" Remley, amber jones, Rachel Gardner, Brittney brooks, Chana Isom, Lakedra Gardner, Joshua Guy, Joseph Jones, Jasmine Fisher, and Camry Gardner; fourteen great grandchildren; her best friend Charlie Mae Jackson; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
