She was the widow of Virgil Henry (Pete) Naron and a retired textile mill worker. She was a former member of Second Baptist Church, Monticello, where she had a 46 year perfect Sunday School attendance. She is a member of Green Meadows Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. She was the daughter of the late Sidney and Maude Housen Horn.
Surviors include one son, James Naron of Pine Bluff; two brothers, Hamp Horn and Julius Horn, both of Pine Bluff; two grandchildren, Sandy Blalock and Gayla Case; five great-grandchildren, Jim and Matt Blalock, Britney, Patrick and Laura Case.
