She retired from Burlington Industries after 34 years of service and was a member of Tabernacle of Faith Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Allen.
Survivors include one brother, Jack Allen and wife LaVeda of Monticello; three sisters, Manon Allen Slaughter of Monticello, Wanda Allen Hudson of Farmersville, TX and Brenda Allen Jiles of Monticello; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Campground Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
