He was a graduate of Arkansas A&M College (now University of Arkansas at Monticello), a retired business operator for International Paper and owned his own paper company selling paper products, a United States Army Veteran and was a member of First Baptist Church in Monticello. Bobby was an avid sports fan and liked to travel. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Gene Majors; one nephew, Billy Stephen Majors; and two nieces, Kathy Jo Majors and Barbara Jean Majors.
Survivors include one brother, Billy Joe Majors of Monticello; three nephews, Mark Majors and wife Donna, Chris Majors and Jerry Majors and wife Michelle; two nieces, Renee Grizzle and Debra Bennett "Bill"; along with other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Chapel Woods Nursing & Rehab for their outstanding care.
