To the family please accept my deepest heartfelt condolences. I am praying for you all. Jonathan, my Army friend, I will never forget you. Never. You were always humble and kind and was always there for me. I loved you like my own brother. I am so glad that our paths crossed. Now that God has called you home and you have gained your wings you can go out and pick the largest area to build the home you always wanted. I cry when I think about all the goals you had for yourself and then I think to myself, you are with the Lord. He has said Job Well Done and picked you to go home. He needed you more. I pray that the Lord provides us all with the strength to carry on. Especially your family who I know must be hurt but super proud of you as I am. Thank you for 20 years of friendship. Thank you for your dedicated service to our Country. I can tell by the posts that you have spent a lifetime being there for others. I can never repay you. Watch over us my friend. I will always love you for the person that you are to me. Blessings to your children and family. See you on the other side. #ARMY STRONG

Please know that you have my sincere condolences. I will never forget the eulogy you gave at my mom's funeral entitled "When Your Lease Is Up." It was a message that put things in perspective for me as I was mourning my mother's death. We are only here for a short time. Your brother's lease is now up, and one day ours will be up too. Until then, continue to keep the faith and know that joy will come again.
