Gloria Miller Spencer
November 3, 1952 - May 28, 2019

Gloria Dean Miller Spencer, age 66 of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Belle View Nursing and Rehab in Monticello. She was born November 3, 1952 in Drew County, AR to the late Rastus Miller, Sr. and Julia Washington Miller. As a child, she joined Mt. Pelium in Long View, AR.

Gloria attended Drew High. Shortly after graduating, she joined her late husband, Larry Spencer, Sr., in matrimony. The two soon began their family. They both worked to provide for their family. Gloria never had a harsh word toward a friend or a stranger. She remained humble, loving and faithful until the end.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Rastus and Julie Miller; two sisters, Luvinia and Mary; three brothers, Rastus Jr., Marvin and Eugene; and husband, Larry Spencer, Sr.

She left to cherish her memories, two brothers, Lee Charles Miller and Laron (Carolyn) Miller, Sr.; three children, Pamela (Marshall) Goodman, Veronica, Larry (Wykiki) Spencer, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Kamisha Washington, Sharece Thomas, Denard Shaw, Ajhane Simpson, Keilyn Green, Jurnee Goodman, Kase Spencer; two great-grandchildren, Tremaine Miller and Daniya Markle; also a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Lacey Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
