Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Faye Newton Swan; and one brother, Gene Swan. Mr. Swan was a retired logger and attended Oak Grove Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Tammy Swan Merrett of Sherwood, Kim Swan Stafford of Bearden and Sandy Swan Riley of Crossett; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one uncle, Joe Mack Chambers and wife Jean of Monticello; three aunts, Glenda Henry and husband James of Plano, TX, Jewel Hackett of Conway and Kathleen Padgett of Pine Bluff; two nephews, Johnny Swan of Virginia Beach, VA and Chris Swan of Idaho; one niece, Gena Swan Harmon and husband Randy of Benton; and very special friends, Susie and Jimmy Henry; five step-children, Tammy Cater and husband Buddy, Jeanie Cater and husband Otis, Danny Simpson and wife Deanna all of Monticello, Deanna Bussey and husband Michael of Clinton and Ray Nelson of Monticello and nine step-grandchildren, sixteen step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren from his deceased wife Faye.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rash Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
