He has been employed with Maxwell Hardwood as a rip saw cutter for 23 years. Tommy enjoyed watching TV and playing Playstation, camping with family, fishing and being outdoors. He was of the Pentecostal faith and loved spending time with his family, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carrie Alice Temple; grandfather, Thomas William Temple; stepmother, Edrie Lynn Williams; and his mother-in-law, Dwanna Rouse.
Survivors include his father, Larry Temple of Monticello; brother, Joseph Wayne Temple (Teresa) of Monticello; one sister, Victoria Lynn Settles (Keith) of Jacksonville; fiancée, Cathi Martin of Monticello; step-brother, Matthew Brantley of Monticello; father-in-law, Earnie Rouse; and his nieces and nephews, Heather Nicole Temple, Samuel Lyn Temple, Ariana Settles, and Makai Settles (Cush); along with many cousins.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2019 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ed Hill officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
