Willie Bassett was my grandfather and substitute father from my birth for over 34 years I know his favorite color which shows he likes , teams he roots for, which foods he likes which music he listens too and his favorite yogurt flavor at yogurt land and me and his wife my grandma never knew Ronnie Bassett existed so hard to believe he actually had a son that suddenly surfaces. Anyone care to shed some light ... I will sleep better.

Willie Basset was a kind, loving grandfather with a laugh that would warm up a room. I only wish I had more time with him. Curtis and I send our love and will miss him dearly. I wish I could be there with you all. I am so grateful for all of the happiness he brought my grandmother, Willie, and she brought to him. I will carry his memory with me always. Love, Gabriela Richard (granddaughter)
