Billy Carl Bennett

Billy Bennett, age 75 of Monticello passed away, Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Ozark Health Center in Clinton, AR. He was born July 14, 1944 in Center Ridge, AR to late Floyd and Wilma Otimger Bennett. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Landon McCloy, Leon McCloy and Floyd Bennett, Jr.; one son, William Carl Bennett and one daughter, Amanda Bennett.

He was retired from SEARK Boats, was a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of Free Will Baptist Church. Billy loved to deer hunt and fish and loved working with his hands.

Survivors include his wife Cletis Sue Williams Bennett; one son, Billy Don Brown of Guy; two sisters, Wanda Bryant of Plumerville and Becky Gatlin of Traskwood; two brothers, Coleman Bennett and David Bennett both of Bee Branch; several brother-in-law's and sister-in-law's; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2019 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Alvin McMahon officiating. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
