Earnest Neal was born July 11, 1960 in Bradley County, AR to the late Curtisteen Byrd and Marion Neal. He departed this life on October 14, 2019, in Beckley, WV at the age of 59 years.

He accepted Christ in his life at a young age at Mt. Pleasant AME Church in Drew County, AR. He was a graduate of Monticello High School. Following high school, he worked at SEARK Marine as a welder until relocating to West Virginia.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Joyce Byrd, Sharon Byrd and Rose Nealon.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Lorell Neal of Danville, IL and Earnest Tremayne Neal of Fort Smith; two daughters, Sherica (Omar) Scott of Fort Coffee, OK and Rose Mary Neal of Beckley, WV; three sisters, Debra Hall of Newport News, VA, Marilyn Nolen of Monticello, and Vicki (Lee) Ferrell of Grand Prairie, TX; one brother, Stacy Smith of Warren; his best friend, William Cox of Beckley, WV; five grandsons, four granddaughters, two great granddaughters and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Campground Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
