He was a retired pipefitter, United States Navy veteran with 11 years of service and was a Jehovah's Witness. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife and love of his life, Rose; and two brothers, W. C. Tucker and Jack Tucker.
Survivors include one daughter, Elaine Tucker Worthen (Walter) of Monticello; one son, Kenny Tucker of Monticello; two brothers, Olin Tucker of Monticello and Eddie Tucker of Pine Bluff; one sister, Kitty Wiscaver of Smackover; his "adopted daughter" Janet Williams; a special niece, Annie Harvey, who was like a daughter to him; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
Memorial services for Jerry and Rose will be 4:00 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2019 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 p.m. following the service at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
