She was a longtime employee of Phillips Cleaning Company and was a Baptist. Minnie's hobbies included doing yard work and working rodeos but her greatest love was spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Survivors include two daughters, Angela Thompson and Amanda Collier both of Monticello; two sisters, Joann Haire of Monticello and Ruth Palmer of Mississippi; four grandchildren, Destiny Hartley, Austin Parks, Brittany Thompson, and Sierra Parks; four great-grandchildren, Paisley Coke, Annalise Thompson, Aubry Kennedy, and Aubri Parks; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service following Covid-19 guidelines will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Zan Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Hamburg Cemetery. A visitation following Covid-19 guidelines will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
