We wanted you to know how sorry we are during this difficult time. We have had you in our thoughts and prayers.
We will always have our memories of growing up at the deer camp with Earl and our boys have the same. What a great time our families have shared over the years! I know you don't know how to go on without your loved one but, remember he is no longer in pain or suffering.
I can already hear our dads sharing hunting stories and all the years they served together on the Civil Defense and the Fire Dept. Both of them were proud of the many years they were a part of serving Drew County and Monticello.
May they both rest in peace.
  8. Lynn
    Daddy,

Eventhough you were a stubborn hard headed ol' man you wouldn't be you any other way. You put up a good fight over the years and lived through some we didn't think you would. This was a time God had a different plan for you. I'm glad you went quickly and peacefully. It was one if the hardest things in my life to do but I'm glad we could be there with you to say good-bye.

If there was anything anyone knew about you was how much you loved deer hunting and the fire department. You have tauhght all of us a few things over the years. Michael and Shannon will be watching over your deer stand to make sure that Geronimo doesn't get away.

We will pay tribute to you tonight. I hope you will be proud. Watch over mother as she struggles with her illness. Say hello to grandma and grandpa Forrest and Haney, Aunt Vera, Muriel, and many others.

    Until we meet again.....

    Love,
    Lynn

Earl and I were running buddies during our years at Monticello High School and I have thought of him ofter over the years.

I am so sorry to hear that Earl has passed away. The last time I say him was at the Walmart parking lot last September before my brother James and sister-in-law Kathy took Janice and me back to the airport in Little Rock for our return flight to Houston. May God bless your family in this time of great loss.

I was so shocked today when I came in to work and saw where Earl had passed away. You can not imagine the sorry that I have in my heart. Earl was a fighter but he had fought long enough and now he has gone to a better place.
Pat be sure and take care of yourself, your children need you.
    Love,
    Eleanor
