Willie James Freeman, Jr., age 66 of Monticello, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021, at Cherry Ridge Nursing Home in Bastrop, LA. He was born July 13, 1954, in Monticello, AR to the late Willie James Freeman, Sr. and Margaret Teresa Freeman. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dwight Freeman.

He attended Drew Elementary School and graduated from Monticello High School in 1973. Willie was a fun loving person that enjoyed life to the fullest. Willie was employed by the City of Monticello for several years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, DeCedrick Harris, Andre Freeman, Galen (Laquita) of Conway, Demetric (Lisa) Freeman of Maumelle, Michael Chandler of Monticello, Janet Hendricks of Kansas City, MO, Sharalon Freeman of Bryant, Tanira Lamb of Clarksville, TN and Zamarian Freeman of Clarksville, TN; and siblings, Donald Ray (Brenda) Freeman, Bobby (Jessica) Freeman, Gary (Bridgette) Freeman, Deborah Freeman, Jewlette (Bobby) Courtney, Marilyn Jones and Laron White; one uncle, Virgil (Annie) Hall; nineteen grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends; and a special friend, Bessie Hymes.
