Walter Carlton Wooten, 77 of El Dorado, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010 at his home. He was born May 16, 1933 in Strong, AR.

He was retired from the U. S. Air Force, a farmer and was non denomination. He was the son of the late Robert Wooten and Lula Frisby Wooten and was preceded in death by his wives, Margie Ruth Wooten and Alice Wooten, five brothers, Donnie, Avon, Melton, Robert N. 'Bootsie' and Ervin Wooten, two sisters, Maudine Henry and Vera Wooten.

Survivors include two sons, Ricky Wooten and wife, Carol of Pine Bluff and Randy Wooten and wife, Patty of Monticello; one daughter, Rhonda Berry of Crossett; one sister, Ernestine Barns of Strong; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
