Wanda J. Wigley Hopkins, age 69 of Monticello, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, Arkansas. She was born May 3, 1952, in Prescott, Arkansas to the late James Monroe and Wilma Ruth McMillian Holdford. She was a Lab Tech for Drew Memorial Hospital for many years. She loved shopping, riding motorcycles, her church family, her work, and Drew Memorial Hospital. Her favorite passtimes though were spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Camo.

Along with her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her sister, Shirley J. Holdford; first husband, Marshall Wigley; and second husband, Lawrence Hopkins.

She is survived by her daughter, Maxann Wigley Mizell and fiance, Shane Duckworth of Monticello, AR; and four grandchildren, Lawton Alan Wigley Smith, Kelby Rae Smith, Karter Marie Smith, and Jalie Brooke Smith.

Visitation for Wanda will be Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church. A celebration of her life will follow at 10:00 a.m. at the church.

    So very sorry to hear the passing of Wanda. Mike and I went to school with Wanda. I got to enjoy Wanda working at the hospital gift shop when she would come in and buy stuff for her grandchildren. She was always so sweet. Will miss her dearly. Praying for all of her family.
