She was a housewife, the supervisor of the kitchen and head cook for St. Marys School for 17 years, worked in retail sales and was a life long communicate of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Lake Village. She was a devout member of Our Lady of the Lake Alter Society and did volunteer work for the church for many years. Ann was a very giving lady, not only to her family whom she loved dearly, but also to her church and community. Her dedication to her gardening and canning was just another way of sharing her love to those she cared about. Her hobbies included cooking, dancing and fishing.
To any person she knew, she was a pleasure to be around and was looked at as a true southern lady. In her later years, she made a transition from the home she loved dearly in Lake Village to Grand Manor in Monticello where she made many friends who deeply cared about her while she was there. Ann was a wonderful mother, excellent cook, loved to fish and loved to volunteer in many church activities. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Menotti; her second husband, Delmar Davis; her parents; as well as one brother, Jim Lepri; and four sisters, Lena Williams, Sara Grassi, Teresa Tomboli and Alta Menotti.
Survivors include one son, David Menotti, Sr. and wife Lela of Monticello; two daughters, Donna Gardner of Monticello and Barbara Ann Farmer of Lake Village; 2 sisters, Kitty Bernotas of Columbia, SC and Fran Marchetti of Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren, John (Jay) Claude Holthoff, Jr., Chuck Farmer, Patricia Farmer Ballard, David Menotti, Jr., James Menotti, Cindy Fava and Kim Roberts; along with numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
