Benjamin Grady Landers, Sr., age 83, of Arkansas City, AR, passed away December 22, 2021, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. He was born April 8, 1938, in Texas to the late Grady Houston Landers and Mary Lillie Foster Landers. Benny worked at Potlatch in Arkansas City for many years before his retirement. He loved to attend Motocross racing events with his son, Benji, and Labrador field trials with his son, Tommy. He was an avid outdoorsman as he loved to hunt and rodeo with his family. Over the years he and Tommy trained many Black labs to be champions.

Mr. Benny is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Martha Ann Walding Landers; his parents; a son, Benjamin Grady ''Benji'' Landers, Jr.; and a sister, Janell Valentine Ward.

Benny is survived by one son, Tommy Landers of Arkansas City; a sister, Maggie Valentine Gibson, of Winnie, TX; a niece, Susan Ward Allen, of Slidell, LA; and a nephew James Gibson, of Winnie, Texas.

The family of Mr. Benny would like to give special thanks to the people of Arkansas City for the care and compassion they gave Benny, his wife Ann and his son Tommy.
