William Leon Dodson, Sr., 68, of Warren, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Arkansas Hospice Hospital in Little Rock. He was born July 25, 1942 in Monticello.

He was a truck driver, U. S. Army veteran and was a member of Banks Baptist Church. He was the son of the late William B. Dodson and Viola Cantrel Dodson and was preceded in death by four sisters, Ruby McBride, Betty Herring, Mildred Morce and Peggy Thomasson.

Survivors include four sons, Donnie Dodson of Coffeeville, MS, Walter Dodson, William Dodson, Jr. and Jessie Dodson, all of Monticello;one daughter, Pearl Thompson of El Paso, TX; three sisters, Shirley Knight of Monticello; Mary Green of Farmington and Diann Douglas of Warren; three brothers, Walter Dodson of Springdale, Waymond Dodson and Gary Sanson, both of Warren; eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
