Dermott, AR Wednesday, September 15, 2010 Kenneth and I were so sorry to hear about your loss. Mr. Parker was a special person to me from years ago when my grandmother lived next door to him and Mrs. Parker. They did so much for her, probably many things that we don't even know about, and I for one, will never forget that. He was a true friend and neighbor.Leroy and Terry Sibley

Monticello, AR Tuesday, September 14, 2010 I want to share a vivid memory I have of Mr. Parker. Many know that he loved going to the ladies'/girls' softball games in Dermott. I'm sure that was to watch his son umpire and his granddaughters play. He always sat near the fince and had certain things he said to certain players. When I batted, I could usually get to first base. As soon as I would start running, tho, Mr. Parker would shot loud enough so all could hear, "You're running too long in the same spot!" And, it was so true.My condolences to Mrs. Parker, Danny, Jimmy, and all his family. He will be missed by many.
