Kenneth and I were so sorry to hear about your loss. Mr. Parker was a special person to me from years ago when my grandmother lived next door to him and Mrs. Parker. They did so much for her, probably many things that we don't even know about, and I for one, will never forget that. He was a true friend and neighbor.

Another faithful believer is called to his heavenly home, at the appointed time, where there are no tears, no pain, no grief. May our loving Father place His comforting hand on all of you, and may you find peace at this time in your lives. God knows and God cares for each of you.

I want to share a vivid memory I have of Mr. Parker. Many know that he loved going to the ladies'/girls' softball games in Dermott. I'm sure that was to watch his son umpire and his granddaughters play. He always sat near the fince and had certain things he said to certain players. When I batted, I could usually get to first base. As soon as I would start running, tho, Mr. Parker would shot loud enough so all could hear, "You're running too long in the same spot!" And, it was so true.

My condolences to Mrs. Parker, Danny, Jimmy, and all his family. He will be missed by many.
