He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Richard, James, and Roy Bates; two sisters, Carolyn Avery and Debbie Funderburg both of Monticello.
Survivors include wife, Lynn Beard Bates of Monticello; two daughters, Lisa Freeman (Demetric) and Hidi Hunter; four grandsons, Aaron Goad, Clayton and Caleb Freeman and Travis Hunter; one granddaughter, Hannah Hunter; one great-granddaughter, Gabbie Goad; his beloved fur baby, Missy; two sisters, Lois Lytle of Monticello, and Pat Thomas Quickel of Pine Bluff; a brother-in-law, Forrest Quickel; a host of nieces and nephews, and more friends than you could count.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Centerpoint Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Keith to Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home, PO Box 506 Monticello, AR 71657. You can sign Keith's online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
