She was the widow of Kenneth Donald ''Donnie'' Connard, Sr., a retired seamstress from Levi's and Star City School Apparel and was a member of Cornerville Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Viretta loved fishing, cooking, sewing and going to rummage sales. She had the ''gift of gab'', loved talking on the phone and never met a stranger. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers, James Roy Morris and George Leighton Ewell; and a sister, Marilyn Ewell Boyd.
Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Connard (Guy Campbell) and Brenda Ellingsburg (John) both of Monticello; one son, Don Connard of Monticello; a brother, Carl Ewell (Linda) of Monticello; a sister, Geraldine McLure of Lawton, OK; grandchildren, Jeremiah Hayden (Althea), Bethany Wornick (Kaleb), Billie Connard Barton (Tyler), Dakota Stanfill, Gracie Connard and Addie Connard; and great grandchildren, Asher Hayden, Audrey Hayden, Kenneth Barton and Raelynn Cornelia Wornick; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Gtaveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Enon Cemetery in Rye, AR. There will be a visitation one hour preceding the graveside service. You can sign Mrs. Viretta's guestbook page at www.stephensondearman.com.
