He was a truck driver who loved to drive big rig freightliners, a United States Army Veteran, a Baptist and was a man who loved people and never met a stranger.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Diane King of Monticello; two sons, Carl King, Jr. of Little Rock and Kevin King of Wynne; a granddaughter, Devyn Nicole King of Wynne; six brothers, Benny King and wife Betty of St. Louis, MO, Bufus King of St. Louis, MO, Roosevelt King, III, Tommy King and wife Ann, Richard King and Michael King, Sr. all of Monticello; and four sisters, Ruby King of St. Louis, MO, Marie King of Fairfield, CA, Mary L. Ware of Oakland, CA and Brenda King of Monticello; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Burial with military honors will be in Green Mount Cemetery in Coleman, AR.
