Raymond Dawson, 65, of Monticello, Arkansas, went home to his Lord and Savior, Saturday, April 16, 2022, at his home in Monticello, surrounded by his family. He was born October 26, 1956, to the late Lebirda Brewer Dawson and Robert Dawson, in Thebes, Arkansas. Raymond worked for the Arkansas State Highway Department until his retirement. He confessed his life to the Lord at St. Peter under Rev. Eugene Mitchell and was a member of First Baptist Church in Montrose, Arkansas. Raymond loved his family and loved listening to his music.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Tabitha Dawson; sister, Cynthia Dawson.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Dawson; his daughter, Kimberly Miller and husband Adrian; grandchildren, Braylon and Bayleigh Dawson.
