Connie Louise Gereaux, 67, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior at her home Monday, June 13, 2022. She was born December 21, 1954, in Longview, Texas, to the Late Mary Bennett. Connie was a graduate of UAM and a registered nurse for 40 years at Delta Memorial Hospital in Dumas, JRMC in Pine Bluff, and Baptist Hospital in Little Rock where she spent 20 of those years before she retired. There were countless moments of care, service, and love shown to her patients throughout those years. She had a heart of gold and made sure that she always took care of those that depended on her for care. Connie had a constant, enduring, and wholehearted love for her children Courtney and Cole that never faded through the years. Connie was sure to teach her kids to be kindhearted and serve others just as she did. The Love she had for her kids was passed down to her two grandsons, Wes and Cade whom she loved with her entire heart and then some. She told them all every day how much she loved them but more importantly, she showed them that the love was real and sincere.
She is preceded in death by her mom and her son Cole.
Connie is survived by her husband, Jack Gereaux; Daughter, Courtney Harp and husband Shane; two grandsons, Wes and Cade Harp; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and James Brazil; sister, Phyllis Hobbs; nieces, Shelley Brazil Pittillo and Mary Beth Lemons; nephews, Shaun Brazil and Michael Hobbs; and stepson, Steve Gereaux; as well as a host of family and friends.
Graveside services will be Monday, June 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Watson Cemetery in Watson, Arkansas.

Benton, AR Monday, June 20, 2022 I was privileged to work with Connie for many years. She was an honorable woman. She wasn't merely a "good nurse", she was a good person who happened to be a nurse. She let that goodness guide her beyond that role. She was also a good friend. She gave her very best to others. She made a profound impact upon my life just by simply being her. I am praying for you all. May God's grace be with you as He comforts you. I am truly sorry. God bless, Bobjohanna foster

Texarkana, AR Saturday, June 18, 2022 Was heart broken to hear of Connie’s death. We were childhood friends. Started 1st grade and graduated together. We even started college at the same university. Spent countless hours on the phone as teenagers. Family, my thoughts are with you at this time of loss. No one is ever really ready to loose a loved one. May Connie’s love fill your hearts and live on through you. RIP dear friend…Tina Bell
