James Edward Andrews, age 77, of Monticello, Arkansas passed away at his home surrounded by family Sunday, December 4, 2022. He was born November 8, 1945, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Vester Lee Andrews and Marguerite Virginia Stewart Andrews. James served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Rose Hill Freewill Baptist Church. He was also a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner and was retired from Burlington Industries. James was an avid UAM sports fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved God and his church family very much.
In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Bottom; and his twin brother, Henry Martin Andrews.
James is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Louise Clemons Andrews of Monticello; two daughters, Tabitha Turner and husband Robert of Conway and Jamie Andrews of Monticello; one son, Marty Andrews of Monticello; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life services with Military Honors will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Rose Hill Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Dwain Roper officiating. Memorials may be made to the Shriners or Children's Hospital. You can sign James' guestbook page at www.stephensondearman.com.
