From the inception of his life, Brian was faced with many trials and tribulations that no child should be expected to bear. He was never a perfect person in life, but he always tried to be a good person. Brian did a tremendous amount of growing and maturing as an adult and that was very apparent when his first grandchild was born. Brian shined the brightest in life and was happiest when he was with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Hammock Pymn; a daughter, Elizabeth Montgomery; a son, Eric Hammock (Jessica) all of Monticello; six grandsons, Blaiden White, Jerrod Montgomery, Remington Hammock, Gunner Hammock, Killian Naquin and Jaxson Hammock Martin; and one granddaughter, Hadleigh Hammock.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. David Bowen officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. There will be a visitation one hour preceding the funeral service from 11:00-noon at the church. You can sign Brian's guestbook page at www.stephensondearman.com.

Monticello, AR Tuesday, May 2, 2023 Betty, I am so sorry to hear this. Brian was always kind to me. I remember him most from the 80's, he was always the one to try and make people laugh with his no nonsense attitude. I appreciated his attempts to stand up for me when things were tough. He was a good friend and definitely didn't deserve what life through at him. I hope he is dancing in heaven with Mr. Acree. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. RIL Brian!
