Lynda Diane Jasay Carey
April 10, 1952 - September 22, 2023

Lynda Jasay Carey, 71, was born on April 10, 1952, to Louis and Peggy Harper Jasay in Monticello, AR. Today our loss is great, but we rejoice knowing she is free of pain and suffering and is in the presence of her Lord. To have known her was to love her. A friend to all and for that she had many.
Lynda attended the Assembly of God Church in Monticello and had been employed by Starko for 23 years as an office manager before her retirement. Due to her illness, she had been living in Hot Springs for the last year, where her sister Karen helped with her daily needs.
Lynda is preceded in death by Mark Carey, the love of her life, her parents, and her grandmother, Ada Weatherford Harper.
She leaves behind her beloved son, Bryan Carey; the apple of her eye, grandson, Kiptyn Carey, of Lonoke; her sisters, Brenda Anthoni and Pam Hall (Ron) of Pine Bluff, Karen Aureli (Greg) of Hot Springs, and Marianne Zeno of Lexington, KY. She also leaves behind ten nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews who loved their LALA.
Graveside services will be held on October 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in Rock Springs Cemetery.
