Sarasota, FL Thursday, December 14, 2023 My heart goes out to my Knobloch side of the family. After 65 years I found and connected with my paternal side of my family through my cousin Jeanne that had done 23 and me as I had. Unfortunately it was to late to connect with my Father. However, Jeanne contacted Uncle Buddy to see if he would like to meet me. He said absolutely, yes. I was able to meet my fathers brother, Uncle Buddy. He was the last surviving brother of the Knobloch siblings. When I arrived for a visit, my cousin Greg drove me to Uncle Buddy's house. Uncle Buddy was on the patio waiting for our arrival. As I walked around the fence onto the patio, Uncle Buddy practically yelled out, "wow I see my brother Franklin walking around to the patio."DNA testing is accurate, but hearing Uncle Buddy's words gave me the best validation I could ever have. He welcomed me with open arms, as did the rest of the family. I am saddened that I only had a few short years to know Uncle Buddy. However, I am happy to have had that time with him.
I loved my Uncle Buddy!!
