While she lived among her family for most of her life, in her final days she was literally surrounded by her siblings and extended family. Corrie was educated in the Monticello School District and graduated in 1979. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, crocheting, traveling, shopping, and sharing time with family and friends. Among other roles, Corrie was a friend, counselor, and confidante. She is fondly remembered for her selflessness. Whenever you needed someone or something, she would drop whatever she was doing and SHOW UP. It didn't matter where it was or who it was, she was gonna be THE FIRST there to help.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria N. Harris; father, Arthur R. Harris, and two brothers, Frederick E. Harris and Steven Harris. Cherishing her memory and uplifted by the life eternal she now enjoys are her stepmother, Verlenda J. Harris; five sisters, Juanita Freeman, Jacqueline Thompson, Gloria Y. Harris, Sondra Johnson, and Meshonda (Marcus) Donahoo; five brothers, Ricky Thomas, Arthur L. Harris, Jesse (Kiko) Harris, Marcus Harris, and Wallace Smith. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Monticello, AR Saturday, December 23, 2023 I’m so very sorry to learn of Corrie’s passing. The time that she worked for my mother, we developed a great friendship that has lasted for years. Corrie was a good hearted and sincere person who was true to her word. She’d help anyone she could and even through the times when she was down and felt terrible, she would always attempt to put on that smile and be her usual jovial self; never focused on her issues. She was one of a kind who will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.LaFran Liggins
