He was a retired cross country truck driver and was of the Baptist faith. Bobby was a gifted mechanic that could fix anything. Other hobbies that he enjoyed included gardening, drinking his Coca Cola's, smoking cigarettes, watching old tv shows and Nascar racing but most of all, loved spending time with his late wife Kathy and his grandkids. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hope Parker; sister, Rhonda Black; and son, Matt Durham.
He is survived by his four children, Marie Parker and husband Jonathon of Kilbourne, LA, Heidi Reed and husband Dillon Aldy of Monticello, Brent Durham of Monticello and Chris Cain; his two siblings, Sheilah Cain of Harrison and Richard Cain of Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Kaylee and Claira, Allison, Jackson, Raylee, Ruthie, Ryder, Sara Rein, Elijah and Isaiah.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in Oakland Cemetery. There will be visitation Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. You can sign Bobby's guestbook page on this website.
