Kevin Colton Kelly, 34, of Monticello, Arkansas passed away, on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. He was born July 4, 1989, in Monticello, Arkansas to Patrick Kevin Kelly and Eydie Swain Dement. Kevin was a member of the Arkansas National Guard and served active duty with the Army on missions in Africa in 2017. He loved to shoot guns and tinker with stuff. His family laughed and said he was the master of taking screws out of stuff to see what it was made of but always had screws left over when he put it back together. He never threw those screws away because he might need them again.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Patrick, and his grandparents, Edward Lyvern Kelly, Mary Louise Scifres Kelly, James Swain, and Ruth Hunter Swain.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Ashley Gutierrez Kelly; daughters, Avalee Bliss Kelly and Aliana Jade Kelly; mom, Eydie Swain Dement; and a host of family and friends.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held September 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in Holly Springs Cemetery in Star City.
You can sign Kevin's guestbook here on his page.
