Dorothy Nell Faulk Barnett, age 87 of Monticello, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at her home. She was born February 7, 1937, in McGehee, AR to the late Joseph Calvin Faulk and Nona Freeman Faulk.
She was a homemaker and a devout member of the Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Dorothy had a passion of keeping her house and yard clean along with playing bingo and watching old movies but, her first love was going to church and worshiping her Lord. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two daughters, Joy Helen Barnett and Carolyn Louise Barnett; along with several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Dorothy is survived by her children, Linda Judkins of Monticello, Virginia Pennington of Monticello, Larry Joe Barnett of Monticello, Rita Faye Nelson of Monticello, Barbara Gail Barnett of Bryant and Robert Ward Barnett of Monticello; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. You can sign Mrs. Dorothy's guestbook registry on this page.

    I am lost of words to say about my aunt Dorothy Barrett who has gotten her wings who is now flying high in the heavens and she is in the arms of Jesus. To all my cousins who has to say good bye to there mom , grandmother and great grandmother you all are in my prayers and thoughts and if you need to talk to me I will be there for you just keep your head up and just remember she is with Jesus now and is no longer hurting or in pain
