Tom graduated from Arkansas A&M College in 1961 with a business degree and spent 38 years as the Planning Manager at Burlington Industries. He was an outdoorsman, an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending his days at the family deer camp surrounded by family and friends. Tom enjoyed watching sports and following the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was an active member of Northside Baptist Church for many years and dedicated volunteer in the Monticello community. He coached his son's baseball teams throughout their youth and played softball in the community league. A loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, family-man, amateur tree farmer, gardener, frugal investor and master supervisor are just a few of the ways his family and friends will remember him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Marsha Henry, and his older brother Billy. Survivors include his three sons, Mark Henry and wife Tammy of Greenville, MS; Greg Henry and wife Donna of Pea Ridge, AR; Todd Henry and wife Frankie of Golden, MO; two grandsons, Dustin and Kyle Henry; three granddaughters, Heather, Tara, and Kristin; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Henry and wife Sandra of Decatur, AR and Bob Henry of Monticello; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2024, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Kevin Henry officiating. There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. preceding the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Campground Cemetery. You can sign Tom's guestbook registry on this page.

Monticello, AR Sunday, July 21, 2024 Uncle Tom to me, not by blood, but by love. I have known him my whole life. He and Aunt Marsha and my parent were close friends. Great memories of those community softball games. I worked at Burlington and was also going to college, he was my boss. Sweet, sweet man. I haven’t seen him recently, but will always love him. I hope you and Mom and Dad get to go fishing soon. Rest in peace. Prayers for his family and friends today and in the upcoming days as you honor your Dad.Love, Misty (McCrory) Wilhite
