Greenville, NC Wednesday, January 19, 2011 Georgie,I haven't seen you since I was about ........7 or 8, I guess. Wow, that makes me and you both oldish. I just wanted you to know why Aunt Donie was such a special aunt to me. Even when I was a little kid I knew she was a formidable woman. She left Monticello and had a life and career outside Arkansas which was not the usual thing for our family back then. When she came home for visits she was always such fun to talk to and she talked to me like I was an adult and not a kid. I looked forward to all her visits because she made me feel special. Much love to you and your family during this time.
