Donna Cox Tucker Rezab of the Enon Community in Monticello, AR, went to be with her Lord on February 17, 2025, surrounded by family. She fought a good fight, and she is at peace in Our Lord's arms.
Donna was born November 18,1937, in Monticello, AR, to the late Lyman and Ludie Griffin Cox. She grew up and resided in the Enon community for many years. She loved to dance, work in her yard and to stay on the go. She was always up for an adventure and the life of the party around anyone she met.
Donna was a member of the Enon Baptist Church in Monticello, AR. She worked for Burlington Industries until she retired. Donna loved to travel, spend time with family, and spend time outdoors. Her grandchildren, nieces and nephews always loved Christmas with her and her goody sacks as she called them.
Donna lived with her daughter, Stacy in Sherwood and Bauxite, Arkansas, helping to care for her granddaughter, Maddison during Maddison's illness. She lived there until her health declined in 2020. She then moved to Rowlett, Texas, with her daughter Trudy for the remainder of her life. For those of you who knew her she was always outgoing and happy. She loved being with friends and never missed a class reunion with her Class of 1955, Drew Central High School.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, John Calvin Rezab (Jack); a niece, Deena Rezab; and a great nephew, Chad Harrison.
Survivors include a sister, Bonnie McCabe; two daughters, Stacy (Jeff) Smith of Bauxite, AR and Trudy (Alan) Carrington of Rowlett, TX; and a son, Jeff Tucker of Monticello, AR.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Justin Carrington of Rowlett, TX, Brittni Hankins (Matthew) of Bauxite, AR, Maddison Webb-Smith of Bauxite, AR, Houstin Smith (Haley) of Carbon Hill, AL and Holly Karras of Cabot, AR; three great grandchildren, Rowan Hankins, Landon Karras and Georgia Smith; in addition to her nieces and nephews, Wayne Dorsey, Debbie Pruitt, Denise Mead (her side kick)(Rodney), Lisa Tripp (Ken) and many other nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. She will be missed by all.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21st, at Enon Baptist Church in Monticello, AR with funeral services immediately following. Rev. Michael Griffith will be officiating. The burial will be in Enon Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association in her honor, Meals on Wheels in your area, or Enon Baptist Church in her memory.
Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at UT Southwestern, Dallas, TX, Meals on Wheels, Rowlett, TX and most especially our Nurses and Staff at Hope Hospice, Rowlett, TX, especially Candy, Sandy and Nana. We couldn't have done it without you. You can sign Mrs. Donna's guestbook registry on this website.
