In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Lynn (Brown) Rogers-Weeks; and the father of her children, Thomas Patrick Brown, Sr. Cheryl had a career with the Saline County Circuit Court for nearly three decades. She started with the role of Secretary before retiring with the title of Chief Clerk.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Johnny Ray Spade; her son, Thomas Patrick Brown, Jr. and wife Jackie; her sisters, Judy Cross and Tammy Mitchell; her brother, Thomas Ernest Mitchell, III; her grandsons, Owen Brown, James Sterling Rogers, V and Ethan Brown; her granddaughters, Katelyn Brown and Ava Rogers; and her great granddaughter, Zella French.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. preceding the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. You can sign Mrs. Cheryl's guestbook registry on this website.
