She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, John T. Shaw, her daughters Judy Mason and husband Mark of Auburn, WA., Johnna Courtney and husband Michael of Hot Springs, her granddaughters, Kirsten Courtney of Fayetteville, Ellen and Bailey Courtney of Hot Springs, and brothers Claude Hancock Jr., and Billy Joe Hancock of Monticello.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Edward Hancock, and sisters Maxine Johnson, Betty Mankin and Hazel Gray. She was an avid gardener, a wonderful southern cook, and a devoted grandma.
