  1. Josh and Angie Frost
Aunt Nellie: I am so sorry to hear about D.W.'s passing. He was a great man, and I have a lot of memories of him out at the old mini golf course, while growing up. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
  2. Ted Scallion
My great uncle Dee. I'll never forget the family reunions at the old farm. Dee, his brothers and sisters, including my grandmother Ernestine, and all the children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren packed into that little house with Tommie and the women cooking. That was a special time in my life and I'll never forget any of them, especially Dee. He was, by far, my favorite of them all, with Lawrence a close second. Rudolph, you scared me. WC, I'm not lazy, no matter what you say. I miss all of you. I just heard the news today and apologize for not making it to the service.
  3. Denise Smith-Frost
Aunt Nellie and Family, I am so sorry about D.W. and sorry I was not here to attend the service. I have been praying for all of you as I am sure you have for us. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. God bless all of you in the days ahead. Love you.
  4. Marty & Sandra Baker
Our prayers are with the Chambers family. D.W. was a fine Christian example. I always enjoyed the time we would spend visiting as he recalled his childhood with my mother and her family in Bowser. D.W. was our buddy and will be missed. May his family find comfort knowing he has gone to be with his Heavenly Father.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family at this time. We know how much this dear brother meant to our friends Lawrence and Olive and their children. It is never easy to give up a brother or sister from this earth, but our heavenly Father also has plans for his children and wants them all to come home to be with Him.

You were one of a kind and I will never forget you. I will also keep in my heart the I love you that you told me on the phone while you were in the hospital.
Today the real meaning of memories are just that and they are so precious.
We had some great times on the farm when Grandmother and Granddad were alive. Especially at Christmas when everyone would come in.
As kids we would play ball, go catch the old plow mule and cut down Christmas trees out in the pasture.

So you see God has blessed our family so much, but we are very selfish to let each other go home.

I will always love you Uncle DW and hopefully in the future we will be back together.
  22. Lainey Brandt
My deepest sympathies to your family during this difficult time. God bless.

  25. Larry Pasley
My heart goes out to DW's family. I preached at his home congregation for 15 years. One thing I would like to share with you happened when he was about 75 years old. He came to me and said that he had never given a devotional in church before but he thought he would like to give one. He did a great job and was put on the list to give devotionals. I was very impressed that a man of 75 yrs old would step up and get out of his comfort level to do something like that. It took great courage. I loved D.W. and would have come to his funeral but I have a commitment to preach 3 hours away that day.
  26. Hope McClellan
Uncle Dee was one of the special ones. I will miss him.

I love you and I know you will still be with me in my heart and by my side for the rest of my life. I am happy that you have made your sweet journey to be with your Heavenly Father and your family. Please remember I don't want you to argue with the Angels. Your loving daughter, Sue
