Edward 'Eddie' James Block, 82, of Hawthorne, CA, formerly of Monticello, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 at Windsor Gardens of Hawthorne in Hawthorne, CA.

He was a retired truck driver for MonArk Boat Company and a Drew County Deputy Sheriff for several years. He was the son of the late Edd Block and Mattie Ashford Block.

Survivors include one sister, Ella Clark Belion of Los Angeles, CA; several nieces and nephews.
