Matilda was a caregiver throughout the community of Longview for many years. She was a devoted member of Mt. Peleum AME Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She leaves to cherish her memories; one daughter; Matilda Jordan of Monticello, AR; three sons, John William Franklin, Donald Franklin and Rev. Daniel (Helen) Franklin all of Longview, AR. She also leaves twenty grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
