She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was the daughter of the late William E. Bond and Nellie Piper Bond and was preceded in death by two brothers, Irvin Bond and Payton Bond and three sisters, Dorothy Stephenson, Elna Jones and Helen Frizzell.
Survivors include two daughters, Norma Smith and husband, James and Betty Lewis and husband, Jim, both of Pine Bluff; three brothers, Ralph Bond of Sunnyvale, CA, Edward Bond of Pine Bluff and Jerry Bond of Ft. Smith; two sisters, Earlene Owens of Star City and Edith Young of Pine Bluff; three grandsons, Jay Lewis, Shannon Smith and Mark Lewis, one granddaughter, Monica Smith; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
