Scar was a WW II Veteran, assigned to Dutch Harbor during the bombing of Pearl Harbor. After returning from service, he married his bride and was a meat delivery man for Linekers, then was employed by Sunbeam Bread Company for 13 years. He then worked for 10 years for Parker Distributing and 20 years for Delta Distributing, all of McGehee. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and St. Mark's Catholic Church. He was a former member of Copperhead Hunting Club, an owner and president of Line Hunting Club and a member of AARP. Scar was best known for his other financial endeavors, his trailer park, and selling fruits and vegetables that he had grown in his garden. He was loved by so many and never met a stranger.

I have such great memories of him and aunt jelly; I remember, when Jace and I took my parents to visit them, they were fascinated with everything that uncle Scar had to say (of course I was the interpreter) I had the best time translating all of his jokes! Uncle Scar welcomed me into the family with a big hug and his wonderful self. His presence in this world, will be dearly missed; however, his legacy will live on forever. Vicksburg, MS Monday, October 10, 2011 So very sorry we could not come to the funeral. I have been sick with the 'crud' for about a month - and didn't want to infect others, and am coughing alot. Now that the last of the Cingolani brothers and sisters have gone to heaven, we cousins move yet to the next page in our lives. This page is a huge wake-up call for me in thinking about my own mortality. Who thought we would get this old ? I loved Uncle Scar the best of all of them - he was a 'chumbut' but I loved him so much. Y'all were very lucky to have 2 wonderful parents. Now who's going to tell the 'wedding cake' story ???
