He was a self employed carpenter and cricket farmer and a Baptist. He was the son of the late Wesley Parker and Maude Robinson Parker Currant and was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Davidson Parker and two brothers, R. E. Parker and Odis Parker.
Survivors include one son, Brian Parker and wife, Malinda, of Monticello; one daughter, Carol Parker Moss and husband, Scott, of Dewarty, CA; two step sons, Archie Clark and wife, Jennifer, of Johnsville and Donald Huey Clark of Monticello; one step daughter, Debbie Parker and husband, John, of Monticello; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
