Jimmy C. White, age 70, of the Prairie Grove community, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 at his home. He was born December 28, 1941 in Drew County to the late Edgar White and Ruby Clantan White.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ima Lee Lloyd White; one brother, Harold White; and two sisters, Ann Simon and Marie Luquet. Mr. White was retired from Georgia Pacific of Crossett and a member of the Prairie Grove Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and dearly loved his family and friends.

Survivors include three sons, Greg White of Prairie Grove, Kenny White and wife, Christy of Warren and Terry White and wife, Theresa of Prairie Grove; one daughter, Pam Blount and husband, Keith of Colorado Springs, CO; nineteen grandchildren, Scott, Keith, Craig, Sara, Kristen, Alex, Delani, Kyle, Crystal, Ashley, Samantha, Tabitha, Heather, Amanda, Lindsey, Kade, Tiffany, Savannah and Bryan; three great grandchildren, Arianna, Gracie and Aiden and good friend Melvin Wells.

    It's only been a month since you passed away but it seems like years. I miss you and mama so much. I find peace in knowing you both passed away peacefully and at home...where you wanted to be. I wish we would have had longer than 79 days between you and mama. I pray daily for the wisdom to make sense of it all. I know all things are in God's time.
