Marie and my Mom, Ruby Gregory grew up together and were close till their last days. I loved Mrs. Rash and will miss her much and will always remember her daily visits with Mom in the nursing home. I know she is where she wanted to be, with God in Heaven.

Wayne - I am so sad to hear your Sweet Mama has passed. I just adored your mother and would try to talk to her every time I came home to see my Dad who also lived in the same home. After my mother passed away in 2010, I went thru some old photographs & came across one of your parents having their 50th anniversary and I carried that picture to her and you would have thought I handed her a bar of gold! I told her I was going back to finish looking thru pictures and if I found more I would bring them to her. She was so eager for another picture that she walked to Dads room to ask if I'd found more -- a few minutes passed and I found a picture of your sister Brenda with her parents at their 50th anniversary and I carried it to your Mom. She was overjoyed! Your Mom had a light inside her that radiated and she was just a joy to be around. She lived a good life and loved her family. She got so much joy looking at the birds and squirrels out the window. You were a great son to her and you'll have no regrets. God bless you and your sister Brenda and all family members. Marie Rash was a remarkable lady and I am happy I knew her!

To the family of Ms. Maria, she was a very sweet lady that would love to hold your hand and tell you that the Lord Loves you!!! I was so blessed to know her for these last 5 months. I loved serving her coffee, and seeing her smiling face :) I pray for your family for strength to get you through this period in time. I know that Ms. Rash is rejoicing with the Lord she loved to tell you about!!! I miss her but know that she is in the place she talked so highly about!!! The Lord now serves her coffee, and her many blessings she deserves :)

Ms. Marie. A dear, sweet lady and friend! A kind neighbor. She has blessed my heart and that of everyone she came in contact with. I'm glad she called me aside one day asking me to stop by to visit with her. A neighbor to my grandparents, she remembered me from childhood. I count that very valuable from a lady like Ms. Marie. We talked, prayed, sang, watched the birds, shared memories, and fellowshipped with others. I cherish those memories and will miss her greatly. She was one in whom you could confide in and trust. Always made you feel welcome and gave you her love when you had to leave. She delighted in her son and family caring for her, and treasured her grandchildren. Ms. Marie I will cling to your advice and remember that song you sang; " I wouldn't take nothing for my journey now, gotta make it to Heaven somehow..." I Know you are there!!! Hope we will all meet you again one day, looking forward to seeing you again! Lots of Love, Paula Gail
