Marvin Linwood Williams, Jr., age 70 of Monticello passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012, at his home in Monticello. Born April 20, 1941 in Pine Bluff, AR, he was the son of the late Marvin Linwood Williams, Sr. and Nettie Allen Alsobrook.

He was a graduate of Monticello High School, a retired rural letter carrier and an active member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Dottie Hilburn Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Shelby Jordan Williams of Monticello; one son, Lin Williams of Bastrop, LA; one daughter, Rena Williams McCone and husband, Randy Paul of Monticello; one sister, Anna Williams Rowland of Russellville; two step sons, John Funderburg and wife, Nancy of Monticello and Tony Funderburg and wife, Cheryl of Texas; one step daughter, Jackie Pennington and husband, Kenny of Watson; fifteen grandchildren, Caleb Satterlee, Hannah McCone Flemister and husband, Brian, Kohl McCone, Ellie Satterlee, Jill, Jake, Katie and Sarah Funderburg, Maranda and Kendall Pennington, Amber Munnerlyn, Michael Lusinger, Jamie, Brooxy and Brittnay Ellington; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
